On January 12, 2010, Haiti was struck by a 7.0 earthquake that killed over 200,000 people and left over 1 million homeless. Thousands of children were orphaned and left to try to survive on their own.

For His Glory has been partnering with Maison des Enfants de Dieu to minister to orphans in Haiti since 2003. Twelve days after the earthquake, many of the children in the orphanage at the time were reunited with their forever families. Since then, we have taken in a total of 70 children, many of whom have been orphaned since the earthquake.

The majority of the funding for the orphanage comes through adoptions. However, since the earthquake, adoptions have been slow to resume and funding slowed to a halt.
