I am happy to tell you that we have a henhouse at the orphanage. It has 12 chicken in it.  They already started to make eggs. The children are so excited to see them. It was made by the Belgium guys during their time here.

There were two men:one is a Pastor and the other a church member. They came to encourage us,pray with us and do something to help us. They're thinking to help having a garden in the front to grow crops. They are planing to buy a motorized cultivator to facilitate the garden. It will be used by us and a Pastor on Delmas 75.

Remember God has blessed us with a well. It is not finished yet,but they are almost done. They will put a manual and electrical pump on it. We will be able to have water for the orphanange 24 hours and to serve the community water for free. Praise God! I am thinking to use it to evangelize people picturing Jesus as the Living water;I am praying God can provide a truck to let us bring water to orphanages and camps that are struggling for water now. Praise God!!! God has been blessing us a lot since the earthquake. I am thankful to Him to use us(FHG and Maison) as His servants to save lifes,to bring hope and to share love.

On May 16, 2008, I fell from a ladder at the orphanage while rushing to pick up a baby abandoned on a pile of  garbage.  I could not go because my ankle was broken, but some nannies went and saved the life of that baby whose name is Christella Hope. On May 19, 2008, I had a  surgery to fix my ankle in Haiti, but it remained painful and swollen.  I have been limping for many months hoping it would get better. Unfortunately,it has not.  I found that out after checking with an another Doctor who told me I need to fix it as soon as possible.  The Lord heard my prayers and made it possible to have the surgery in the US.

 Pierre's Leg

On Nov 12, 2009, God provided a surgery for my leg because it was not healing well.  It was a big blessing for me to have it back.  I am so thankful to the Lord, to all He put on my way to make it happen and to those that were praying for me. I  still need to slow down on my activities to facilitate the healing.  It will  take me at least six weeks to be able to put weight on my ankle normally.  Please keep me in your prayers for a complete healing.

  Pierre with Doctor Tim Beales

Doctor Tim Beales was my orthopedic surgeon. He is a very good specialist of bones. I felt so blessed to be his patient. He is a man with a great heart and a strong servanthood spirit.

 Church Visit

I had the privilege to go to church and worship the Lord and then to be interviewed by Pastor Bernie Anderson. He is a man of God and he is doing a great work for the Lord. The members of the church were happy to hear how God is using FHG to rescue orphans and reach out to people for HIS Kingdom.
